About Us
Welcome to La Porteña, an intimate supper club-style restaurant in the heart of Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where the warmth of Argentinean hospitality meets bold, seasonal flavors. Inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Argentina and the bounty of South Jersey, we offer a prix-fixe dining experience with curated courses leading to a selection of main dishes.

At the helm of La Porteña is Chef Lucas Manteca, Argentinean chef whose deep respect for local ingredients and skilled craftsmanship define our menu. Guests can choose from expertly grilled meats, fresh seafood, daily homemade pastas, and farm-fresh vegetables. For those seeking the ultimate steak experience, we offer the option to select or upgrade to carefully sourced meats—from prime cuts of local Jersey cattle to some of the most prestigious Argentinean farms, where cattle are raised on lush pastures for unmatched flavor and quality.
Designed by Deanna Ebner, Lucas’s wife, La Porteña’s space embodies a vintage cheeky charm, where guests can gather, indulge, and linger over a long, leisurely meal. Thoughtful details, warm hospitality, and an inviting atmosphere make it a place to enjoy great food and good company.

At La Porteña, every meal is an opportunity to slow down, enjoy great food, and share memorable moments. We look forward to welcoming you.
